The Bai Yun is a newly designed building, modeled however on the architectural style of Lin Nan (ancient southern China). The hotel has a garden that is designed in the ancient style, with waterfalls, small springs and jagged rockeries. The hotel is 34 stories high, with a total of 795 guestrooms, ranging from standard rooms to presidential suites.
The tastefully furnished meeting facilities include a grand conference hall and variously sized meeting rooms, while the business centre provides fax, typing and photocopying services. There is also a ticket reservation center, a store, a gym, a beauty salon and a post office.
Within the hotel there are four restaurants. The Baiyunlou Restaurant offers Cantonese Food, Chaozhou Food, Beijing Food and Shandong Food. The hall can accommodate 500 persons holding cock-tail party. The western restaurant provides good western cuisine, mainly Italian food.
